I need to replace the cooler hold down bungee cords on my 2004 Montauk 170. They are about 6" long and I believe Whaler calls them J-hooks. Can't find them anywhere, any suggestions where I can find them?

Have you tried a Whaler dealer?

I don't know exactly what those bungees look like, but I love the ones from just ducky products. They are called "perfect bungees" and they really are. My boat cover mfr. doesn't recommend using bungees for hold downs. I got tired of the tedious fastening they recommended and started using these. They are great, don't get weak and are covered in a plastic that doesn't damage the fiberglass when they rub. You can get some styles of these at Home Depot and Bass Pro. They make lots of different lengths and terminating ends. I really can't find anything wrong with them at all.
