I have a 1976 13 sport. I have no original wood so I'm fashioning my own. Thanks to this incredible resource I think almost everything I need to know is here. I wanted to cut the front hatch cover today, but the pdfs don't include the location of a circular hole I've seen in some members' photographs. I haven't found definitive directions searching the discussion areas. Does anybody have original woodwork and could they tell me where to cut the hole and what size it should be? Thank you all.

That is just a finger hole, drill it dead center. It is 1 inch, maybe and 1 1/4 inches depending on your preference.
