Just bought a 2004 Conquest and discovered that the stbd fishbox pump does not work, but the port does. Is there a fuse for that particular pump, or the breaker on the dash protects both of them. I figured if the pump was seized, it would trip the breaker.

Thanks

What model Conquest? The 305’s main helm breaker is located on the battery switch panel with the component breakers located on the panel below the steering wheel

I just bought a 2004 Outrage 240 with two of these fish box pumps. Apparently, these pumps do not last very long at all. Both of mine were seized from a very corrosive salt water environment below decks. I pulled out the still usable impellers on each of them. New pumps were $75 each plus shipping.

The good news is that they are really easy to replace. Look up your model on the Whaler website for the diagrams of the pump out system. It tells you how to access them.

Basically, go find your model number on the pump.

It took me 20 minutes to remove, rewire, and install each new pump.

Hint (5/16" rachet to loosen the hose clamps) Cut wire and crimp new connections.

They work great now.
