Thread subject: Whaler Central - Boston Whaler Boat Information and Photos :: WhalerCentral Keychains have arrived

We received the WhalerCentral floating keychains today.

I have mailed out the keychains to everyone that has contributed via the PayPal contribution link on the left side panel... (you must login to see the Contribution panel)....

These keychains are available to anyone who contributes to WhalerCentral via the "Contributions" panel on the left sidebar.
Click on the PayPal logo on the left sidebar, you can choose to use your regular credit card if you don't have a PayPal account.
You can also send a contribution to us via snail mail.

Contribution Amount:
$15.00 = 1 keychain
$25.00 = 2 keychains
$35.00 = 3 keychains
$45.00 = 4 keychains

etc., etc....

Too many sites don't give you anything in return for your contribution other than self satisfaction knowing that you contributed. We however would like to go a littler further than that by showing our gratitude to our contributers. Something you can use every time you take your Whaler out. This keychain is just a small token of our appreciation to the contributors of this site and something you can take with you and remember for years to come.

Thanks to all of you that have contributed to WhalerCentral.
We hope you like these new keychains.

Here is a photo attached below of the finished project.

Some members have been asking if they could use a regular credit card...
Yes......

For those of you who don't have a PayPal account, you can choose to use a regular credit card instead.
Just click on the PayPal Donate logo and choose either PayPal or a regular credit card.
The PayPal site is totally secure....

Thanks again.

Since we have been getting quite a few contributions, we have been looking at the idea of giving more than one keychain per certain "amount" of contribution.

Now that we know how much shipping is and how much the padded envelopes are that we send the keychains in, here is what we have come up with.

Contribution Amount:
$15.00 = 1 keychain
$25.00 = 2 keychains
$35.00 = 3 keychains
$45.00 = 4 keychains

etc., etc....

We think that this is fair for the people that need more keychains and/or wish to contribute more.

For the people that have already contributed, you will be receiving more keychains in the mail equivalent to the amount of your contribution from the list above.

We are doing this for several reasons.
Many people have twin engines and would like 2 keychains.
Many, if not ALL, would like 2 keychains so they can have 1 as a spare in the glove box of their vehicle. I know I always keep spare keys to my boat when I go somewhere and it is nice to have them on a floating keychain..... It would not be fun to be on vacations somewhere and lose your only set of keys... Then what do we do? Hot wire the boat? No thanks....
So, just a reminder, keep a spare set of keys in your vehicle or someplace handy just in case of an emergency.....

Thanks again to all of you that have made contributions,
The WhalerCentral Staff

Hey Joe about how long does it take for the key chain to arrive. 5 or 6 days? Should I start worrying that my key chain grew legs or does it take longer? Thnx man! Great site some day I will figure out why my pics dont load:|

rcmickey,

I was delayed getting to the post office so they weren't mailed out until Monday.

This being the holiday season, the mail does have a tendency to slow down too...
You will most likely get them before Xmas..... but probably much sooner.

Let us know when you get them...

I have a feeling I am going to get more than my $20 back from being a part of this group. My 92 16SL is solid but needs some love... Jimmy

Rick - you have to put the image location inside the img brackets. Like this...

[img]http://s230.photobucket.com/albums/ee113/rccmickey[/img]

Your link must be bad because it should come right up?

http://s230.photobucket.com/albums/ee...rccmickey/

Joe can you insert photo in this manner? If I use his link and insert as url you can get to the page. I always throw mine up to my server and link direct to them???

Joe do you still have key chains in stock?

I think Rick was using the email & IM link on photobucket. You have to insert the direct link. Lets try this...

Blue_Northern,

The link Rick has put up is his website and that's why it does not work.
You can not put up a website or entire page as an inline image.
You just found out that you can take one of his images and then insert it using the [img] tags.

Yes, we just got another shipment of keychains in and they are looking for a good home.. :o

Joe - I sent over my donation. I need to post some updated photos of the holes I filled in my console. When my key chain gets here I will put it in the ignition of the photo I am going to post. HeHe!

Barry,
Thanks for the contribution.

Everyone on this site contributes one way or another or both... Meaning information or contributing for the keychains... We are all helping each other in many ways...

Thanks again. The keychains will be sent this coming week and we look forward to hearing more from you and of course, your Whaler.....

Well, I sent my contribution over as year ago, and I`m not enjoying my key chain, yet. I go out to my mailbox every day, hoping, but alas no key chain.

Binkie,

I have no record of your contribution.
Not from Binkie or FloridaBoy.... or some other name you might have used?

Can you give me the PayPal transaction number?

Can`t remember how I sent the contribution. It was a long time(year?) ago. I`ll check my paypal if I can. Did you leave info so a person could send a check?

Joe, you have private message

Binkie,

That is strange.
I have absolutely NO record of ever receiving an email from you or PayPal about this payment.
However, looking into the PayPal account records, your payment is there.

At any rate, we will be sending your keychain out this week.
Sorry for the confusion and thanks for your support.

Hopefully there isn't anyone else in this same situation.
If anyone else has not received their keychain, please let us know.
Luckily we can check the PayPal account records for any transactions received and verify the payment.

Joe,

Does Whaler Central have the key chains with the tube float that holds the registration. I would like to purchase and support if possible. If not that might be a popular item to have stenciled rather than the basic float the next time you order them.

This site was a tremendous help to me as I restored my 1974 13' sport. I can't figure out how to make a project album, and I can't figure out how to make my pics small enough to include on my profile, but here is the link to my final product. Maybe one of the new podcasts could address how to accomplish this. Take care and many thanks for your comments and many others as well.

We can look into this next time we order.

Personal Pages has both a text tutorial and a video tutorial.
Check them out at the bottom of the main page in the Personal Page center table section.

That type of float would be good for the next go around

I agree. Keeping the registration inside the floating key ring (rubber) is what I do for my fleet.

Hi Wade,

Just for clarification, we do not collect any money nor does WhalerCentral sell anything....

We are a NON-Profit organization. The donations help to pay for web hosting services and other computing expenses, etc.....

If people want to donate and contribute to WhalerCentral, we have that option on the left sidebar. For their donation we also give them a WhalerCentral keychain....

Thanks to everyone that has donated to WhalerCentral.
