Thanks for that reply... I was also wanting to avoid the strake I got a DVD with mine with explicit instructions. No roller, just a 'burnishing tool' which looks similar to a very heavy/thick putty knife. Perhaps a hard rubber wall paper seam roller would be good ? I'll look into the 3M product.
