The transom on my presmirked Montauk is about 15 degrees off from 90 degrees. Not sure if it would be stated at about 75 degrees or about 105 degrees. We also have to consider it a compound angle as the transom itself has a vertical angle.

Any rub rail end cap would pretty much have to be specifically designed to fit the particular hull angles.

I could make the caps out of nice Teak that would look pretty sharp but it would take some time and effort and as Tom said, the first hard landing at the dock would either wipe it out or could cause more damage than just the rubber bumper might.

I still need to find a member who replaced their rub rail and has that old end left over so I can attempt to piece it in.
