I just found this great site and am excited by having access to some seasoned Whaler guys. I'll be using my Whaler for salmon and sea-run cutthroat fly-fishing in the northwest and specifically Puget Sound. I have just a couple of questions.

1.) Can anyone suggest a system for fly rod holders that sit under the gunnel?

2.) The boat came with an older 90 HP Yamaha 2-stroke and a newer 8 HP Honda. On a full tank of gas what kind of gas mileage can I expect? Of course there are many variables, but a general guess would be great.

3.) Does anyone have experience running in Puget Sound and about what kind of range can I expect for a average day of fishing?
