I am looking for a Whaler larger than my 13. Been toying with the Montauk for a long time. I do like the Outrage model as well.
I've been out of touch with the Whaler line for a while now so I'm not as familiar with all the offerings of late. I want something I can take offshore for a few miles, but I'm not going too far.
I'm thinking it makes sense to try and get a boat with a head for the women that will be on it, if that is possible on a smaller boat. I am hesitant to go more than 20' in length as well, due to storage issues.
Does anyone know what would be the smallest Whaler that would fit my needs? Any other suggestions to get around the head issue are welcome as well.
Thanks
You can't get a <20' Whaler with a "head" you have to go 210 Montauk or larger to satisfy the admiral(s) that length will also be be for the offshore trips you mention, although the smaller sizes can do that when you pick the right weather. The Outrage(s) will give you a smoother ride size for size compared to the Montauk but the larger 21' 210 Montauk with head will give you a good ride too due to it heavier weight.

I just listed my 1999 21 Outrage and it offers everything you mentioned.
Not mentioned on my posting is the porta-pottie mount.
From the factory the port-pottie sits on the floor of the console, so it is very low.
I made elevated platform for it (removable if not needed) that raises the head to a very comfortable height, near ADA guidelines.
Passes the Admiral's (wife and daughter) inspection with ease.
