My wife and I just bought a 1984 13' whaler sport for our little lake in NH. The boat does not have any night time navigation lights. While I might be able to fish the wires in the bow, it looks like they are buried in the stern. I was wondering if it is easier to get something that doesn't involve wiring.
I don't expect to use them very often, maybe once a year, but I rather have them than not. Any suggestions?
I too use these for my 14' Achilles inflatable dinghy and other Zodiacs over the years. Make sure you buy the LED type instead of the less expensive incandescent bulb type.
Being that you only use them sparingly the LED will much better work and your batteries stay good longer.
Happy boating 1 hr B-4 sunset and 1 hour after sunup are the nav lights required, not just when it is dark.
