Hi everyone,

Anyone seen a pylon rig mounted around the engine on an outrage with an adjustable insert on center tube? The pylon insert is missing and I'd love to find replacement or speak with manufacturer.

Thanks for any help!

I don't think that is for a ski pylon. My Outrage (1998 20') has the same railing around engine well that you describe. I bought my boat used and it had a filet table inserted there. I would not think it strong enough for pulling skier. Interested in experience / opinions if I am wrong about this.

I'm a little confused by the description but this is what I've been using for many years in a 1984 Outrage 22. Works great and pops in or out in minutes.

Perhaps you can order parts if this is same rig you speak of.

I'm thinking of using the same pylon on a 1974 Outrage 21. Problem is I have twins and not sure if these pylons will fit. Would be interested in some info on how you mounted yours. I suspect metal backing plates are required when mounting on cap glass in splash well. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Both the filet table and ski pylon were options that used the same rig, though the ski pylon required two leg supports as well. I think this is your part number and they are extremely hard to come by because they're not manufactured any more:

BW Part # 1047869
Swiveleze Part # 92833

Good luck.

A friend of mine has both the Fish Station and the Swiveleze Ski Pylon on his 1996 Outrage 17' II

I had the Fish Station on my 1997 Outrage 17' II
Scroll down to Fishing/Bait Station here:

Would be nice to get the Ski Pylon Part diagram from someone someday.

There was also a fold out teak table available for all the models that had that same railing setup. I had one of these also.

On my 1973 21 Outrage I have been using a turboswing. I have had it for 2 years and have not had any problems. It allows me to pull a tube or a skier up. It has different sizes to accommodate for multiple engine boats.

On the link I provided to the Fixed height Swivel-Eze Ski Pylon there is a link to download a PDF of the installation and a parts list. Here it is again:

http://www.attwoodmarine.com/store/pr...xed-height

The clevis pin support pieces are through bolted on my teak gunwales. These are length adjustable to help the placement on different boats. The main center up right of the fixed height piece screws into a 7 or 8 inch diameter plate which is screwed to the floor. It's not a toe/foot breaker. We hardly know it's there anymore. The entire pylon comes out and in in minutes and is stored in the floor hatch in front of the console.
We've towed many skiers, tubes and a 10 ft Zodiac with no problems and will easily work with twins.

The other Swivel-Eze pylon is an adjustable height one here:
http://www.attwoodmarine.com/store/pr...ble-Height
There doesn't seem to be a parts list or installation advice for this one. And I don't know much about it.

ZEKESTONE:
I just found your June post on Hull Truth with pictures. Whats the diameter of hole for the post you're looking for? Perhaps the Swivel-Eze post will work or maybe some place can make you one.
