I just picked up a 1991 25' Sentry from thw Navy and I was wondering if anyone on here has been through one of these hulls. I cant seem to find much info on this vessel. I'm going to repower, new gelcoat and bring it up to speed. One question I do have is when I pulled the deck either side of the fuel tank there is a channel in the after portion of these channels are holes through to the outside of the boat. A through hull hole with no plugs in sight on both sides.... seemed very odd to me. Anyone familiar with this model please chime in.
I only have experience with the 22 and 25 but they all they those thru-hull drain. Put a normal drain plug in each and you're good to go. The new 25 Guardians drain into a bilge instead but all of the classics have the thru-hull drains as you described.
