This winter I'm restoring my 1967 Whaler and I noticed a soft spot near the bulkhead drainage area behind the pilot seat. I grinded down the area and I noticed the foam released water, it didn't run out or look too saturated. I don't know what to do about this, I don't think the boat is completely waterlogged, two people can lift it and it's pretty fast.
I'm thinking of drilling a few holes into the area and squirting Gorilla Glue into it. Is this reasonable? Is the water issue serious?
