Can anyone tell me which side to locate a small 'get you home' outboard ? Manual says you should be able to see impressions where the pads locate, but can't see any clues on ours.
Maybe best to make a thin plywood saddle to be on the safe side ?

By not giving us the year of your boat, we have no idea if there might be changes from one year to the next.
